Jeanette from Exposure Denver's Lighting with Models workshop

Jeanette was the first model I shot during the workshop and she was in the natural light station. I was trying to get used to shooting in manual mode. Normally I don’t have the images show up on the camera right after shooting because it uses a ton of batter compared to just shooting. I found that in manual mode it’s pretty important since it’s very easy to completely screw up the exposure settings and get a picture that’s completely blown out or completely black. I am pretty sure I got some of both when shooting Jeanette. I also found my camera was picking ISO 3200 for some shots which is way to grainy. I guess it’s very important to know about your camera before shooting. In this case it was a brand new camera that I’d only had for a few days.
